nose
Brick red hues framed by soft persistent bubbles. Aromas of subtle oak toastiness with delicate chocolate and dark berry characters with nuances of spice and cedary oak.
palate
Complex chocolate and spice coated with creamy mouth filling mousse. The freshness and residual sweetness from recent disgorging balances with the chalky tannins and aged characters to balance the palate. The result is a creamy, velvety, complex mouthful of flavour. This wine is unlike any wine we have made before at our Rutherglen Estate. One to savour.
