Château Peyrassol

The Commanderie de Peyrassol was founded in 1204 by the Knights Templar and is regarded as one of the finest producers of Rosé in the heart of the Côtes de Provence. The Estate is located in Flassans-sur-Issole on 950 hectares with vast areas of forest and garigue with clay-limestone soils at an elevation of 330 metres which receives protection from the sea winds due to the natural basin. The plantings of 92 hectares under vine are dedicated to producing world class Rosé from Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Tibouren. The wines are crafted with an emphasis on freshness, minerality and finesse to create a pure expression of the unique terroir and to capture the flavours and scents of Provence.
