Blain-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 'Morgeot' 1er Cru 2017

Soft floral-infused aromas display an appealing breadth with nuances of citrus, white and yellow orchard fruit, lavender and a touch of resin. There is excellent richness and mid-palate density to the broad-shouldered flavours that evidence good power and drive on the balanced and satisfying finish. While this is not especially elegant, refinement isn't why one buys Morgeot.
