Blain-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 'Morgeot' 1er Cru 2016

Once again there is plenty of floral influence to the liqueur-like aromas of pear and white peach. The full and big-bodied and concentrated flavours also flash plenty of muscle on the sappy and citrusy finish where a hint of warmth arises. In much the same fashion as the Boudriotte, this is slightly ponderous but if you enjoy broad-shouldered, rich and powerful whites, this would qualify.
