There is plenty of Sauvage character to the overtly earthy aromas of red and dark currant, autumn leaves and subtle floral nuances. There is fine size, weight and mid-palate density to the medium-bodied flavours that possess plenty of dry extracts that do a very good job of buffering the moderately firm tannins shaping the impressively complex and persistent if rustic, finale. Fine quality here.
