Blain-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte 1er Cru 2016

An exotic nose offers up notes of mango, viognier and lychee nut along with a mix of both yellow and white orchard fruit. Lush, even opulent flavours manage to retain reasonably good detail along with a discreet bead of minerality on the powerful and muscular finish. This is impressive if perhaps just a bit ponderous.
