Stefano Lubiana Primavera Chardonnay 2025
We're a proud sixth generation winegrowing family, with our son Marco Lubiana in the business, having established our blocks of vines on our special site in Granton back in 1990. Prior to that, Steve's father Mario grew vines and made wine in South Australia, and their ancestors in Italy before that. The vineyard lifestyle we've chosen is rhythmic and cyclical, and we've learned to value hard work and determination.
Named after springtime, this wine is a bright and fresh expression of Chardonnay. This wine is a blend of Chardonnay from our Estate vineyards in Granton, Derwent Valley and Cradoc, Huon Valley. These two terroirs build a layered falvour profile, the richness coming from the Granton fruit meanhwile the brightness coming from the Cradoc fruit. All of the Chardonnay is matured in 100% oak with a portion of the juice filling 228L barriques and the other portion in seasoned 500L Austrian oak foudres.
Fresh seafood like oysters or grilled kingfish to amplify its saline zip, or try it alongside roast chicken with lemon herb crust for pure bliss.
