Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé NV
Since 1968, Laurent-Perrier has developed and perfected a unique style of champagne: rosé champagne, which was not popular in Paris at the time. The difference was maceration; this labour intensive approach makes it possible to obtain the richest and most subtle expression of Pinot Noir. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé NV is characterised by its ripe red fruit aromas, a high intensity and great freshness.
The Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé NV is elegant, with the colour changing naturally from a pretty raspberry hue to salmon pink. Well defined bouquet, extraordinarily fresh and a wide gamut of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry. To taste, it has a fresh and sharp attack followed by pillowy mousse. Finishes bright, a punnet of fresh picked red berries, cream and flaky pastry.
This rosé champagne is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from ten different Crus in the Montagne de Reims. After careful selection, the grapes are sorted and destemmed before being placed in vats. They undergo the more intensive maceration process that lasts between 48 to 72 hours, depending on the harvest. This process helps extract colour and unique aromas, showcasing the richness of the finest Pinot Noir Crus. The champagne is then aged for five years.
