Château Mont-Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2023
, Clairette , Roussanne , Picpoul , Bourboulenc Château Mont-Redon is owned by the Plantin family heirs, the Abeille-Fabre family, and is currently run by the 4th generation. Driven by the passion for wine, we inherited the entrepreneurial spirit of our ancestors and created new wines and looked for other great terroirs of our region.
In 2023, the family was thrilled to celebrated the 100th anniversary of Château Mont-Redon.
Our white Châteauneuf du Pape should be enjoyed young for its aromatic freshness with floral and citrus notes. The mouth is very pure and expresses all of the terroir’s minerality. After a few years of aging, acacia notes appear, even oily character as well as a very smooth texture. Cellaring potential: 15 years or more.
Lobster, scallop risotto, roast chicken with tarragon, or soft cheeses.
Notes of white peach, pear, acacia blossom, citrus oil and almond meal, with hints of fennel and wet stone.
The palate is rounded yet poised, with vibrant acidity driving a long, savoury finish.
