Description

Crafted by winemaker Laura and carefully grown by husband Tim at our home - Lush vines, plump olives, green pastures, aqua dams, loam soils and tin sheds all encased by the tall, barky, aromatic eucalyptus trees. This is what we see in Timbertops!

Review
A juicy and bright riesling, with frisky citrus characters, a tonne of florals, faint lemon-ginger tea tones, even bergamot tea in there too. The perfume and palate match these words prior. It's vibrant and shows off decent concentration while a limey core is pleasing. It does the regional white staple well. Drinks a charm now, though should soften and honey up nicely within a decent cellar.

Review
Very pale lemon with lime tints at the core. Waxed lemon and lime curd aromas. Lime and grapefruit pith on the palate, some sea-spray notes adding tension while supple acidity keeps it rolling along. Good length, a little sweetness at the finish but it's nicely complemented by a subtle fuzzy grip

Tasting Profile
nose

Brilliant pale straw with emerald flecks. Delicate yet intense flavours of lemon, lime and musk.

palate

Bright, sherbety and lively on the palate with a lingering mineral acidity. Whilst ready to enjoy now, this wine will gain in complexity over the next eight to ten years.
