Einaudi Barolo Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi DOCG 2016

I like this. It’s a little tense and backward but has a fine perfume of dried mint, tea and potpourri, dark cherry and spice. It’s flavoursome and coated with brick dust tannin, carries a little warmth, but also succulence of deep red fruit and cherry. It rolls out very well as you give some air. The finish is authoritative and long.
