Boasting more than 550 years of history, Stadt Krems and Stift Goettweig’s Fritz Miesbauer has built up somewhat of a large reputation of himself after turning Domane Wachau into one of the world’s finest producers. After being awarded Falstaff’s Winemaker of the Year back in 2020, we are so excited to have his wines at CellarHand. Gruner Veltliner is a signature grape variety to Fritz and Stadt Krems Lössterrassen Gruner Veltliner from the Kremstal appellation provides an ideal enviroment for this deliciously fresh and spicy wine.

Krems is rich in loess-rich terraced slopes and offers an ideal breeding ground for the Grüner Veltliner grape variety. In this climate, a fresh, sparkling and spicy wine is created that is great fun to drink. This wine is the absolute classic of our winery!
