Norton Ridge Pinot Noir 2018

Norton Ridge is a project put together by T Edward Wine Company. Their goal was simple: create excellent, food-friendly wines at a reasonable price. To do this, they leveraged their decade-long relationships with grape growers in Sonoma and Napa counties. By starting with grapes of exceptional quality and having the freedom to blend grapes from different parts of California, they didn’t need to do much in the cellar. None of the wines saw new oak and very little intervention was needed. When you use good grapes it’s easy to make good wines. This Pinot Noir shows classic Russian River flavours of black cherry, cedar, and sarsaparilla, with soft tannins and a long, lovely finish.
