Lignier Michelot Morey Saint Denis 'Aux Chezeaux' 1er Cru 2018

Discreet wood sets off an ultra-floral suffused nose that presents notes of cassis, baked plum and soft earth. There is evident minerality to the relatively refined, intense and well-detailed flavours that display excellent complexity on the lingering, youthfully austere and Sauvage finish. This is really quite good though at least some patience is advised.
