Alión originates from a careful selection of vineyards spread across different areas of the Ribera del Duero appellation. The goal is to produce a wine that represents the best of Ribera del Duero, while maintaining the vineyard management practices established by Vega Sicilia. These soils, with their diverse characteristics, complement each other to create a qualitative diversity within the same grape variety, Tempranillo (Tinto Fino).
