A discreet application of wood sets off the ripe, fresh and layered combination of plum, violet, spice and soft game-inflected aromas. There is good volume and intensity to the attractively muscular and stony medium-bodied flavours that display strikingly good depth on the impressively long, clean and dry-in-the-best sense finish. Lovely and this too should be approachable young.
