Cropped at just 14hl/ha, the 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru easilyhas the best bouquet from Gouges’s reds with a mixture of red and black fruit, sous-bois,pressed roses and just a smudge of liquorice. The palate is medium-bodied with saturatedtannins, a fine-boned structure with plenty of freshness and focus on the finish.There is alot of substance here and as such, this will require 4-6 years to reach its drinking window.
