Domaine Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 'Clos des Issarts' 1er Cru 2015

An impressively layered and overtly floral nose is comprised of notes of dark pinot fruit, forest floor and earth. There is a lovely sense of energy to the rich, round and naturally sweet medium-weight flavours that possess excellent intensity while retaining very good precision despite the solid richness and volume. Like several wines in the range, this elegant Gevrey 1er should drink well young.
