Over time, the Côte des Bar Champagne terroir rehas become a very popular wine region that best exemplifies the fruitiest expression of Pinot Noir.
The Côte des Bar is situated in the south of the Champagne appellation (between Bar-sur-Seine and Bar-sur-Aube).This renowned vineyard area represents a quarter of the total Champagne production. The stunning rolling landscape belies soils and unique exposures ideal for Pinot Noir, one of the key Champagne grape varieties.
From a strict selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plots, this brut champagne – aged 5 years – blends together several vintages. Fresh and creamy, Cuvée D will please even the most experienced connoisseurs.
Blend: Pinot Noir 55% (Côte des Bar)
and Chardonnay 45% (Côte des Blancs)
35% to 40% of reserve wines
Lobster, scallop risotto, oysters or soft cheeses.
With a gold yellow colour, Cuvée D has a delicate and persistant mousse. White blossom and soft spices appear first on the nose, mellowed by notes of toasted brioche and vanilla on the finish.
Cuvée D presents freshness with mandarin and orange zest notes. It offers a deliciously fresh and creamy champagne of great intensity.
