The estate was established in 2005 by husband and wife Pierre-Yves Colin (the son of Marc Colin) and Catherine Morey. They have holdings in several Premier Cru sites in Saint-Aubin and Chassagne-Montrachet and also buys grapes to make wine from several Grand Cru vineyards, including Bâtard-Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. In the cellar, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey does not use the bâtonnage technique and favours lees contact and barrel-ageing.

Tasting Profile

Palate
From vines located in Meursault (40%), Puligny (15%), Chassagne (15%), and also Saint Aubin (30%). Made exactly like all the other wines, just a shorter elevage. Not yet labelled Côte d’Or ‘It can be but the clients have never asked for it. ”A compact nose. Mouth-filling, vibrant, slightly mineral, less slightly citrus – a little lime too. A really extra-great finish for a Bourgogne – bravo!” burgundy-report.com December 2021
