Here the wood is more noticeable if not actually intrusive on the very ripe and super spicy aromas of cassis, plum and Asian-style tea. The middle weight plus flavours possess a highly seductive, even opulent mouth feel thanks once again to the abundant dry extract though it tightens up quickly on the very firm, serious and built-to-age finale.
