This is not a “regular” Barolo!
The harmonious fusion of multiple terroirs gives the possibility to catch the unique and diverse characters of Nebbiolo from different positions and exposures of this region and to represent them as a whole in a complete and balanced Barolo, following the Langhe tradition.
Structured and sharp tannins meet a pleasant finesse, with ripen and spicy red fruits, with long persistence.
Extremely long ageing potential.
Produced every year respecting the style of Pio Family, since 1881.
Rose petal, dried cherry and wild strawberry with hints of tar, anise, orange peel and subtle spice.
Red berry fruit, savoury earth tones and finely grained tannins supported by bright acidity. Persistent finish showing dried cherry, tea leaf and mineral notes with elegant tannic grip.
