Mayer Close Planted Pinot Noir 2025

Timo Mayer’s Close Planted Pinot Noir comes from his tightly spaced estate vineyard just south of Healesville. The dense planting forces the vines to compete and work hard, naturally limiting yields while building impressive fruit concentration and fine structure.

This is the only Pinot in Timo’s lineup to see a touch of new oak, adding a little extra depth without getting in the way. With the riper conditions of the vintage, the whole-bunch component sits at around 25%, helping keep the wine focused and elegant rather than overtly stalky.
