Deep purple-black in colour, the 2010 Alte Reben Shiraz is closed on the nose with dense licorice, dark fruits, and cassis notes accented by vanilla, spice, and coffee. Full, rich and concentrated on the palate, it has medium-firm, fine tannins, bright acid, and a long, spicy finish.
