A subtle whiff of wood sits atop the mildly exotic array of white orchard fruit, especially pear, that is laced with hints of quinine, smoky mineral reduction and honeysuckle. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the stony and well-detailed middle-weight flavours that offer fine depth and persistence on the finish that is also appealingly dry.
