Sordo Barolo Ravera DOCG 2016

Raspberry, sugared almond, brown spice, chocolate, perfume. Red fruit sweetness, jubey, softer structure, fine dusting of tannin and spicy perfume. Long finish. Clean and very good.

Ferrous, bloody whiffs, scents of cherry-raspberry freshness, salty liquorice. Flavours similar, quite sweet, let’s say fruity, fresh and soft, supple and then a nice, gentle pucker of tannins. Some earthiness in there, a little meat drippings and cool acidity to finish. Has a lot going for it. Charming.
