A much spicier nose reflects notes of black cherry, lavender, herbal tea and a hint of sandalwood. There is a round and velvety mouth feel to the medium-weight flavours that pack a very good punch while exhibiting the muscular and youthfully austere finish. While this has the stuffing to age over the medium term, it should be reasonably approachable after only a few years of cellaring.
