Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Retrospective Twin Pack 2010 & 2019
Henschke is one of Australia's great wine producers, situated in Keyneton in the Eden Valley of South Australia. The Henschke's trace their roots in Australia to the mid 19th century with the first recorded sale of Henschke wine in 1868. It's flagship wine, the 'Hill of Grace' Shiraz is sourced from a single vineyard from vines over 160 years old. The current generations of the Henschke family (5th and 6th) that tend the 109 hectares under vine in the Eden Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills, use organic and biodynamic principals in their vineyards and are world leaders in sustainable wine production.
Keyneton Euphonium is a beautiful composition of shiraz from up to 50-year-old vines growing in the Eden and Barossa Valleys, blended with cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot from selected vineyards in both regions. Matured in French and American oak for 18 months prior to blending and bottling.
Pairs well with a variety of dishes, including red meat, game, and pork. Its rich flavor profile also complements stews and roasted chicken. The wine's balanced structure and smooth finish make it a great choice for both festive meals and everyday enjoyment.
