Clos Saint-Jean is considered as the best vineyard in Chassagne-Montrachet for Pinot Noir, and Domaine Ramonet’s parcel of 50 rows against the hill produces one of the finest. Bright red cherry fruit dominates a light, crisp body and mineral aromas stemming from the limestone soils, with notes of wet stone. It is delicate and has a subtle texture, vines were planted in 1947.
