Firm, medium weight red of dark, plummy fruit, salt bush characters, a touch of eucalyptus and plenty of ferrous, saline mineral things going on. It drinks like a BBQ red with quite a bit more grace and elegance, everything seamlessly woven together, the wine fresh, long and shaped with sleek tannin. This does a good job of pitching at more refined, restrained cabernets.

Medium, intense ruby colour. Tobacco leaf and cherries on the nose. Good medium weight with a classic claret feel. Nice hint of saline minerality speaks of Langhorne Creek. Flows silky and quite long. Good value gear.

Tasting Profile

Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Attractive red currant and mulberry aromas are intermeshed with dusty vanillin cedar, tobacco and subtle spicy mint notes.
Medium bodied the palate is generously endowed with ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which meld into cedary tobacco, dried herb and spicy black olive elements. Nicely framed with fine grained tannins it finishes with a refined medium to long aftertaste.
