Marking its five-year journey on lees and crafted with a delicate dosage, this wine unveils a myriad of complexities. Its velvety texture carries nuances of enticing citrus, subtle nougat, and toasted brioche, layering the palate with richness. Elegance and balance define its character, accentuated by refined acidity that gracefully lingers, leaving an enduring impression on the palate.

The vines at Singlefile’s estate, which bore the fruit for the 2011 vintage, had finally reached their pinnacle after three years of meticulous soil and canopy management. The season commenced with a cool and wet spell, transitioning to a dry finish, ideal for the steady ripening of the fruit. Come harvest time, the grape bunches were pristine, perfectly suited for handpicking.

Analysis of the lower block Chardonnay commenced in mid-February, with a keen focus on monitoring Baume levels, total acidity, and pH. As the weeks progressed, the fruit ripened significantly, culminating in a harvest on March 1st, boasting an impressive 11/11 reading (Baume and TA).

Our Blanc de Blancs, a testament to the exceptional quality of this vintage, saw a limited production of only 97 cases, reserved exclusively for our esteemed wine club members. This exquisite wine will be crafted solely in vintages of unparalleled excellence.
