This wine comes from a historic 700-acre estate in the southern Médoc that's home to vines, forests, and stallions. The wine is ripe and full of black currants from its majority of Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich and packed with generous fruit, the wine shows the progress the property has made in recent years. It still holds plenty of tannins, so age further and drink from 2022.
From the fantastic 2015 vintage, this Cru Bourgeois is as committed to making exceptional wine as it is to breeding top-of-the-line dressage horses. Rich, ripe, and bursting with dark fruit character, wisps of smoke, tobacco, and leather leave an enduring mark on the full-throttle finish.
