Caroline Morey hails from a prestigious lineage of vignerons rooted in the Cotes de Beaune region. Additionally, she is happily wedded to Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. In pursuit of her own winemaking path, Caroline embarked on a remarkable journey in 2014 by securing her share of the family vineyards from her father, Jean-Marc. These vineyards became the foundation of her own Domaine, nestled in the enchanting locale of Chassagne-Montrachet. As fate would have it, Caroline and her husband were blessed with newly constructed cellars tailored to their specific needs.
During her inaugural vintage in 2014, Caroline held modest parcels of land in Chassagne-Montrachet for both red and white wines. In addition, she possessed smaller vineyards in Santenay and Hautes Cotes de Beaune, amounting to a mere 2.4 hectares. However, as time progressed, Caroline's collection of vineyards expanded significantly through family inheritances and shrewd acquisitions. At present, her total domain spans an impressive 7 hectares, evenly divided between red and white varietals.
